where to buy ls1 stuff

im new to rotary's and new to v8's. so my new project was to try to get a ls1 swap under 7g's. is this possible? or maybe a 2jz swap or something.

i don't even know where to start. so if someone or all of you guys and gals who knows about the ls1 stuff can someone walk me through it.

or if anyone who has done a 2jz can you guys or gals help me too.

thanks

i might just buy a fd shell or fc im not sure yet. still looking for a clean one.

step 1. figure out what car you are using.
step 2. figure out what drivetrain you are using.

after you get that far, we can help. before that its just guessing.

you want a firebird / camaro t56

the drivetrain in a corvette has the engine up front with the transmission/differential mounted in the rear of the car.

I have a complete pullout for $7K. Should make 450rwhp with a huge cam. Current cam in it will make just over 400rwhp.

http://www.v8rx7forum.com/parts-ever...parts-etc.html

email me if you are interested: gnx7@hotmail.com

If you want to learn more about the swap go over to v8rx7forum.com Then spend the entire weekend searching on how people did things vs. asking all the ?'s of the day when the answers are already there.

For an RX-7 swap you need the Fbody (camaro/TransAm/Firebird) LS1 as the Corvette accessories/oil pan don't fit. Also the Fbody T56 mounts behind the engine and the Corvette is a rear mounted transaxle. Custom driveshaft and you are good to go.
