Go ahead and head on over to torquecentral. There are all sorts of answers to your questions there.

As for what youn need to do for the fuel system, you need to provide the LS1 with 58psi of fuel. Unless you go with a huge cam, heads, and an intake the stock injectors should be ok. Maybe upgrade to some 30# for peace of mind.

Most people just add an external FPR and an intank Walbro and be done with it.

you are having Hinson do the conversion?

That is half the fun....

I'd get AFR 205's (66cc) and mill them .024". Anything bigger than a 228/228 duration or so will not like to putt around below 1800rpm (cam surge where the car will buck). A 114 LSA (lobe center) on the cam will yield a good low/mid range car that pulls nicely on the top (won't peak to 7,000 though). A 112LSA cam will have a meaner idle (lumpy and car shaking) and move the power curve up to the mid range and be more peaky.

I have AFR's like above and 233/239 112LSA cam and it pulls like a madman from 4500-7100rpm... but it is a little soft down low. It also doesn't like to cruise along below 1800rpm or so.. the car acts up and bucks requiring a downshift. I am stepping down cam sizes over winter as mine is a daily driver (228/228 114LSA) that I road race on the weekends.

Get the JTR long tube headers. They fit perfectly and are ready to ship. Hinsons are not. A dual 2.5" exhaust provides great ground clearance and plenty of flow to support in excess of 600hp. A dual 2.5" into single 3.5" would weigh less and be a big louder but a thought as well.

If you have ?'s email me: gnx7@hotmail.com

TorqueCentral.com has all the answers you will need.

Stock injectors are good to 400-425rwhp. If you plan to make more just get Ford Motorsports (FMS) 30# injectors from Summit ($220 or so). Get the stock TB ported and the LS6 intake on your motor is sufficient for 450rwhp or so. The 90mmFAST intake/TB is not a good bang for the buck. ($1200-1500 for 15-20rwhp)

Your car looks great. You will love the LS1 conversion. Gobs of power everywhere, better economy, and the word reliability is a reality. I have about 4K miles on mine with no hiccups. I'm never late to work .
