So it begins

On the 26th I picked up a 93 RX7 base model with an auto. The previous owner tore the car apart trying to build a project, so I got it cheap.

Now the quest for the LS1 RX7 begins...

I'll be creating a website about the car to keep you all posted on the progress.

i would like to see someone do a 5.0 swap to the 3rd gen. the 5.0 is way cheaper and with a couple mods it can hang with ls1s.

From what I've heard, there are fitment issues with the heigth of the 5.0 under a stock hood. But I might be wrong.

Many have put all types of V8's you can imagine pretty much into 2nd Gens.

A few have put LS1's and 5.0's into 3rd gens, similar in terms of exactly how much work has to be done, but a bit less room to work with.
