rx7 ls1 build questions

I have a buddy pulling a ls1 from a corvette ... I am wondering if this type of ls1 will work for a v 8 swap... his transmission is torque tube ... but will a T56 bolt to it ? I am new to this so what all will I need to do the swap and where is a good place to buy the parts?

I ran a vette motor when I first swapped my car. You need to swap to an F-body oil pan but the motor and accessories all work fine. Details here:

Ronin Speedworks has the mounts to beat. They were designed to address several significant limiations with the existing kits on the market (including Grannies which I ran initially).

Be aware the Vette is also drive by wire, so you may want to switch to an F body cable style throttle body to make life easier.

An F body T56 will bolt up. Clutch and flywheel are all the same.
