Power steering pump not working... HELP???
Hello,
Love it or hate it, the 350 RX7 has power steering.. In theory! Rpelaced the manual rack with power, got the pump and bracket in there, got the lines all hooked up, got the pump mounts and the belt to the pulley.... But still no power.
Now, Im sure these electricla harnesses coming off of the pump play a part in this process, maybe activating the pump to switch on or something... Anyone know how to trick it on? Or, am I doing something else wrong, any help you cvan give me in this process will be much appreciated.
I will give a REE Gen 2 , 2 front wheel camber kit to the first person that enlightens me on how to get this baby to finally power steer.......

I don't have the FC shop manual in front of me to verify if the pump needs a signal or not. Is it not hooked up at all on the electrical side?
One thing you could do is rock a standard GM pump with a custom pressure line. The return is just a hose and two clamps. It may be overboosted for your tastes, but reports of running 30wt motor oil through the rack yields great results in streetrods with GM engines and Ford steering racks.
