I raised it shortly after these pics were snapped because my spoolin headers hang quite low. Oh, and she has her other headlight cover installed, too.

Although I didn't build my motor, yes I do believe it's cheaper. I also believe the low end grunt is supposed to be better.

That being said, the ls7 head design is pretty dang good.

If I ever had to replace this motor I'd go for the ls7.

My engine is a pretty good build and put down 540rwhp on crap 91 octane. I've seen a lot of c6zs that have way less work than my motor do more than that in the same fuel

The ls7 dry sump wont fit in a FD with major pan modification. Soooo you can buy an ls7 and 'de-ls7-it' a bit then run it, but there are many other issues etc. I would recommend to get a RHS block if you want big cubes.
