Question Other GM Small Blocks

I have a fresh 383 Stroker that I was having built for a '69 Camaro that I was going to buy but the deal never went through. Will it be just as easy to put that motor with twin Holley 700 carbs in my '88 Vert as it would be a LS1?

Any information would help. Thanks

It will fit in there just as easily, but it won't clear the hood where an LS1 would. If you don't mind a hole or a scoop, go for it.

Why not use a VW motor? That would be "interesting" as well but isn't going to produce the same results, either.
