WOW. I would never have the patients (or the funds!) for that kind of build! Makes my 85 look like a real pile lol.

You do great work, I'm impressed. Quality build from the parts to the way the car looks.

BTW: How much power is the LS6 making?

I think he made around 350 or 375whp, it's still pretty stock for now.

Good job.....way to stick with it.

Did you put a cam in it or you still on the stock bump stick?

Thanks everyone! Its always nice looking at pictures of the beginning of the build and looking at my car in the garage now - its like two totally different RX7s. Its a very satisfying feeling, trust me.

Engine is bone stock save for the upgraded valve springs and replacement trunions - both done for reliability. Im thinking about going with a mild cam in the next year or so, but for now Im fine with the stock LS6. Its more than enough power for a daily driver.

Here's a picture from a cars and coffee meet -

And the guy thats usually riding shotgun -

signed up for this forum just to comment on your build. long journey but great results. I have an ls motor and t56. now I am just searching for a donor vehicle and the RX7 is on my list. Is there anything you would have done differently on the swap portion if you did it again?

I would have kept power steering. I liked it depowered on the rotary. On the LS with the wide and grippy tires up front its a bit of a hassle.
