I'm envious. Can't wait to see when it's done. I'm looking at picking up a 93 R1 w/ a salvage title(clean though) and if I do get it(odds are really good since the guy who has it, I've bought my Corolla GT-S and my SR swap for my S13 from him), I expect to replace the rotary with an LS1 once the rotary goes.

You are making some headway. Keep your nose to the grindstone and before you know it that will be running.
I'm curious how the hood fitment works out.
If you need to set the engine a little lower you could always shim/spacer the Kmember lower with some metal at all 4 mounting points on the frame.

could you post pics of the shifter with all the interior put back together? It looks like the shifter is from a rally car sitting right accross from the steering wheel. lol

Well I use to have a red 90' hatch but got tired of the lines. Also have the same problem with my 95 after a year and a half and that's why i'm looking for an FD. Have one scoped out I might pick up for 9. We'll see though. I've been going through vehicles like women go through tampons.
Almost.

Actually I like the Silvia and S15 front ends on hatchbacks. If you do the body work right, it comes out looking factory stock. It's just I like the coupes better w/ an S13 Silvia front end.
