Mufflers for an ls swap?

Looking for opinions on the best mufflers to put on an ls swap. big concern is droning and I want it to be a little bit of a sleeper so nothing to loud. I have looked at magnaflow and Gibson but have never used anything but flowmaster. I not in love with that sound anymore, so suggestions are welcome.

Biggest mufflers you can fit. It is pretty much going to drone a little with any performance mufflers. Super Turbo mufflers will likely reduce some drone but will lower the horsepower a bit.

2.5" in/out x-pipe = part #10791
2.5" in/out mufflers, 7" round = part #14716 (two of them)
4" tips = part #35136 (two)

I'll see if I can run down pictures.

Quietish at low throttle, screamed at high rpms. Loved this combination.

If it is an FC, I used 2 Magnaflow 12644 mufflers. It is quiet for what it is. - Longtube headers, full 3 inch dual exhaust with custom X pipe.

3inch in/out, 6 inch round 18 inch long body 24 inch overall mufflers.

If you are going for quiet and less drone, do not put on bigger tips, they will make the exhaust louder.

great input. Littleguy nice looking fd, is the difuser a bolt on part or is it custom. I was going to cut the spare tire well and install one on my fc.

I am getting pretty pumped about the ls swap into my fc sounds like the cars are a blast.

Thanks, the diffuser is from Shine auto and it bolted right on, they have some options for the FC.

One piece of advice I would give if you are going to do a diffuser for sure is to put on the diffuser first and then do the exhaust second. The diffuser will pretty much dictate what exit path the exhaust can take.

Like ZoomZoom said, the fart cans sound good on our cars, I had a racing beat on mine and I thought it was too quiet, imho. I think there is a 100% chance of you having a blast with the car, they are super duper fun and you will love owning one.

I know its been a few months since the last post here but I use the REV2 racing beat mufflers and they sound great, quiet when cruising and get loud when you get on it. Also they don't look ricery and fit perfect.

Tanabe exhaust. Really subtle and no ricer look from behind.

Borla ProXS here. 3.5" all the way back but surprisingly quite at idle and low RPM for a Sport/Performance muffler.
