LS1 to a T-5 Tranny
#2
First off there was never a T5 that bolted to an LS style block. With the t56 there are different years and bellhousing can be swapped between them but the t5 was only used on SBCs well before the LS came out. If there are adapters available I'm sure they will break your budget.

I literally just bolted a t5 to my ls. 99 chevy blazer 2wd manual transmission. Have to get a truck 10 spline clutch (4.8l silverado clutch). The 4.8l manual is a nv4500

Any transmission that will bolt to an old small-block chevy will physically bolt to any LSx engine minus one bolt that does not line up. You just need to find the correct flexplate/flywheel setup to make the transmission work...

V8 roadsters sells a bellhousing for this. They were trying to get a series going for Miatas with L33's mated to t5s.
