LS1 Engine Lift Points

this feels like a dumb newbie question. probably cuz it is. anyhow here goes:

what points are you guys using to lift the engine/tranny when dropping it into the car. i can see any easily accessible lift points w/o having to remove stuff.

I pull the intake and valley cover and attach to the valley cover bolt holes using a 4 point attached engine leveler.

Pulled engines 10+ times this way, no problems.

old fashioned chain diagonally across the engine, with a chain separator(i.e 2x4) to keep it off the manifold). it is the one that made the most sense, though i would probably remove the coils just for extra safety. i have seen this method used on older 350s as well.

when i say effective i mean they get the job done. not quit as tidy.
