Lookins for a good car for a ls1 swap HELP!

Aight, well basically im an audi guy, i currently drive an S4 and im very happy with the car but I need something RWD with a lot of TQ and tha can be boosted down the road. Right now I have a nitrous kit for the audi sitting next to me so that will go in the FC once the motor is in, im going to run at least a 100 shot.

So far I know I want to go with a fc since fund re to low for a fd. I need to know what year/model would be the best for the swap. I would like it if it didnt have ps or abs already to eliminate problems with the swap down the road. And something that is already stick is Key as well!

and can I fit 10" wide wheels in the back of the of a fc with out going wide body?

Any tips you guys can give me now before I embark on my project would be great

Any model is the same for the swap, all will need a custom subframe to mount the V-8. You will need to post in the "other engines" section to get any useful replies on the subject.

As for 10" wheels, no you need a widebody kit. If you roll the fenders you might be able to pull off 8.5 to 9" wheels, but even that is stretching it.

LT1-10AE, as well as a few others are running 10" FN01R-Cs in the rear without widebody, fits fine with fender rolling...

Oh, ok. I guess if you just put on a smaller tire than the max that will fit on the wheel, you should be fine.

Get an 86 base.

If you're gonna do that swap, do it to the least-wanted of all the models.
