iNFO about LSX FD3S SWAPS
After thinking long and hard, I decided that I am going on with the LS1 swap. I just got my hands on a nice 2002 Camaro SS engine and T-56 transmission, now I need a mounting kit! My question is who are the manufacturers of these kits? I have heard of Hinson Supercars, Grannys Speed Shop... thats about it... Are there any other people that make the kits?
Also, it would be nice to hear others who have done the swaps chime in with some info/advice as to what is better (what kit is better?) and why it is better?
Thanks,
Chris M

i have hinson's kit. it fits perfectly and i had no issues. i also have their power steering kit, clutch master cylinder kit, and their cooling system. brian is a great guy and is very helpful. give them a call. you can also check out v8rx7forum.com. all v8 swaps and info there. i could not have finished my swap with out them.

im planning on using mounting equipment from samberg on v8rx7forum. i can piece together the rest. hinson makes good stuff but i like some of the designs of sambergs stuff like using corvette engine mounts instead of huge f-body ones. he also has a sweet intake/rad/condensor setup coming out soon
