Ideas on 1/4 mile time

I got an 86 na swapped with a sbc. I'm trying to find what I can expect out of my car in the 1/4. I got a 350 bored 30 over. Mild cam. Headers. Wieland tunnel ram. 600 Cfm carb. 700r4 tranny with race shift kit. Z-pack all the way thru. Corvette servo and 2500 stahl converter. I have the stock rx7 rear with 3.90 gears and running 225/70/14s. Let me know what you all think. I appreciate it.

Yeap! no shift time, and 0 slip at launch with putting all the power down instantly! Lol, how much does your car weigh?

It's a na but I have replaced some steal with fiberglass, removed the carpet padding. Re located the battery. So I would say close to the na stock weight. Of course I will run a ten I am perfect! No not really lol

Basically I love the car on the streets and I'm just looking for a rough estimate of a time. To me the car is perfect.

So from what you have listed as mods I would put you around 375hp at the crank. With that you would be somewhere between the mid 12's to the 13's.

Now if you can list the specs of the engine I might be able to help you out on a realistic HP number. What type of pistons? Compression ratio? Head Specs? Valve sizes? Combustion Chamber size? Stroke? Roller cam or flat tappet cam? Roller rockers, roller tip rockers, stock rockers? All of these can make a large difference in HP numbers.

As for the tires and suspension what have you done in those areas, as this can drastically slow you down.

It's 9.5 to 1 flat tappet cam. 64 cc heads. Stock rockers. I'm running an oil cooler as well. Headers of course with a 2 1/2 exhaust. As far as suspension goes what would help me out the most?

Suspension wise you need to stiffen up the rear end with some delrin diff bushings and if you want put delrin bushings in the subframe as well. Being as yours is mainly a street car I would just go with poly bushings in the subframe. A good set of a shocks and springs make a big difference as they tend to be stiffer than the OEM shocks.

As for the motor you are right around 375HP at the crank as I mentioned earlier. For a quick gain in power add some roller rockers and you will gain anywhere from 15-40HP. Yes you CAN run them with a flat tappet cam. A little tip get rid of that tunnel ram as it is only hurting your perfomance as you don't have the supporting modifications for it. Put a Edelbrock RPM performer or a Edelbrock Performer on there and you will do better than you are now.

I would put your car in the mid 13's as it sits.

Mid 13s is pretty pessimistic. I ran 12.5s in a 3600 lbs FWD Grand Prix with 340 wheel HP. That car should be solidly in the 12s if you can drive it.
