You didn't find anything, because you didn't look to where this thread and part belongs... in other engine conversions

Only that a 300hp V8 is faster than a 400hp rotary, didn't really notice anything bad about it.

yes, there are millions of people out there who think V8's are the only way to make a fast car.

they just don't understand the fun in good cornering, and the whole turbo idea.
all they think about is torque. plus, this guy is trying to sell his stuff by convincing people his way is better.

he says "I've driven 400HP rotaries, and they don't compare", its because they don't have torque. he doesn't understand that they may not FEEL as fast, but they are, and are WAY better at cornering too.

I really hate people like this, but I've gotten used to it. its just not worth getting all angry every day about something I can't change.

I wouldn't be surprised if a 300 hp v8 beat a rotary in a 1/4 mile. V8's are just the best choice for drag racing.
It really just depends on what you want out of the car. If all you want is drag power, then go with a big V8 Trans am/Mustang/camaro/etc because they can run very good 1/4 times easily. If you want a car that handles, then you'll want a light, small import.
And, if nothing else, that V8 sound is really hard to beat.
