Assuming 26" tall tire, 4:10 rear gear, and 6500rpm shift point:

1st 45.8mph
2nd 68.2mph
3rd 93.4mph
4th 122.7mph
5th 153.3mph
6th 245.4mph (theoretical)

60mph ~ 1575rpm
80mph ~ 2100rpm

I run a 275/50/R15 out back on mine, which is about 28" with no load and 26.5" under load.

Come on up. I'll show you the fastest streetlegal rx7 in CFL.

Fastest Street Legal? You have a stock NA rear end in the car. You havn't been to the track yet! However...robert has.... 9.17@151. You come back with a slip that beats that, then you can talk that ****!

BENCHRACER

And who are you? Robert's little girl?

Tell Robert that his time at the top is quickly coming to an end.

Nah I'm just a buddy of his. You can talk all you want, but until you actually install a rear end capable of handling that power, and then make a pass, all you are doing is benchracin' dude

That sounds like a solid 475-550bhp setup before the spray, am I right? I have a friend with a 383 SBC similar to yours in his FC and it pulled 486bhp on the dyno. He has a S4 T2 rear, TH-350 trans and at the track it ran 11.68@120mph.

His is just as clean as yours under the hood, looks so simple...

I hate to break it to you, but Robert has the stock rear in his car too. Or at least he did when he ran his 10.15. I still have yet to see a 9 sec. slip from him.

There is a SBC/NOS FC I believe in FL (maybe somewhere else) with lime green two tone paint scheme on a stock T2 rear with TH700R4 that is running 9.50's@145mph+. 1.40 60ft times I believe.

Unless you have an overdrive transmission there is no way you will run 9's. Simple gearing calculation.

Stretch in TX with a 351W/NOS based stroker in his FB with solid axle 9" is running 8.9x's@150mph+. The car carries the front tires for a long time. I believe he is running a powerglide. He is upgrading his car with a chute and other NHRA safety equipment. He expects to go mid/low 8's with his combo.

Until you run the number I wouldn't brag about being the baddest out there.

My motor spins to 8k and I have 2 overdrives available.

I'm not to worried about running out of gear.

Last time I checked, you didn't win any prizes for showing up with a timeslip. You actually had to run and beat the guy next to you.

And Theo, I might talk a lot of **** about my car, but that's still better then only being able to talk **** about other peoples' cars.

Hey, All I'm saying is...why come in here, and say "I've got the fastest blah blah blah". You MIGHT, but this isn't the stock market, so why the speculation?

I've got my own car to attend to, but I don't go around saying that it's ~425hp and 1900lbs, so according to automath it will run BLAH BLAH BLAH. That **** doesn't matter, the world isn't a math book. I'd tell you here or face to face to STFU unless you've run that thing. Back a few years ago, there would be so many ready to run for cash, and mouth. I
running like that would quickly be put down, but I guess thats just whatcha do guy.

I don't talk **** about my car man....it's just a car, and if people wanna talk about it after it's done and it runs, then more power to'em!

Get a dog or something dude.

No, but if you had nothing more to show for your bragging than an 11- or 12-second time slip, then at least we'd have something to laugh about, and you would have provided some comedic value to this thread instead of jack ****...
