Busted nylon shifter bushing replaced with a brass o.ne.
Also got my fuel pressure set and this thing is so rich it almost killed me lol. I was gonna install my interior today but my lower heater hose was bent and leaked into the interior. I think I got that sorted out but now I have to get the padding dry before I can put the carpet and seats in.
I guess it's time to start collecting parts for my brakes and exhaust so I can get this thing on the road

Also, my exhaust parts have started showing up. I'm still waiting on most of them and will post pics when everything is here. Getting closer...

Brakes lines are done and I was able to bleed the system. Pedal is nice and firm.
Also, the rest of my exhaust parts arrived today.
I hope to get started on it tomorrow and have it done by the weekend

Thanks. Every time I start it for someone for the first time it scares the **** out of them lol. I'm talking 180-220lb guys catching air. I picked up the hood from a forum member on norotors
I'm sure he is on here too. I got it on a straight trade for my stock fenders but I had to meet the guy in kansas. The sucky part is it took literally about 5 or 6 months to get once we decided to trade but it is well worth the wait. It's a replica btw but the fitment is superb.

Looking good man. You're going to love that torque curve I promise. With every car I move on to, the engines keep getting bigger! You'll be stroking her into a 402 or 427 before long.

I dropped the car off at my friend's shop to get the exhaust built. I also had my first drive today.....backed it into his shop from the trailer lol. But it finally moved under it's own power

Time for some updates and pics.
It took longer than expected, but the exhaust is finally getting finished up.
here it is still being fitted before final welding.
After the pieces were fitted it, everything was welded together and painted.
I should have some installed pics loaded up tomorrow.

I really can't give an accurate comparison between the Z and my FD sense I never got to run the FD at 100% . And as handling is concerned my Z is currently on 315 drag radials so handling is definitely lacking compared to the FD atm. But when I wear these out I'll pick up some tires that perform in more than one direction so I can have some real fun with the car. But can say the Z definitely feels heavy compared to the FD.
With all that said, I am very happy with the trade-off. The Z has instant power everywhere and the styling is second only to an FD.
