91 engine swap with 350 chevy good choice or not?

Hey Guys,
I ve gotten into a 91 with a blown engine. Need to know if a 350 chevy can be used for this swap and if so would it be a good idea for using this set up for Drift?
And if possible would anyone know of any conversion companies with parts and tehnical tips to offer.
Appreciate any tips I can get.
Many Thanx.

If your going to do it you will have alot less issues with an LS1 as it's a much more popular conversion, and alot lighter then a 350 chev.

Will the car be street legal?
If so, you're not allowed to install an engine older than the chassis and the engine must retain all it's emissions equipment.

LS1 was used in 98-02 camaros and C5 corvettes. The easiest way to do this is to buy a complete pullout from a 99-02 Camaro with 6 speed. Make sure the wiring harness is included. Then you will need to buy a install kit from grannys speed shop or hinson supercars. There is a bunch of odds and ends you will also need. go to norotors.com for more info

No, its a reciprocating style engines.. you want a 350 right?
Try one of those sweet L98's! its "350 base" platform.

Those LS..whatever motors are 13G based and probably not gonna fit right up.
I think like the boost on them is ... no good or something. Its just what a guy at Autozone said one day. he has a dope FB so i am sure he knows what he's doing.

My buddy who works at Bentley Rebuilders just said a 351 Cleveland is a 350-platform and also to search the junkyards for a "nailhead" which is also a power-hauss.

said that if you use a 350 platform then its based on a 350 and those are really good for drifting and also good for growing mullets.

Ok Chief. Thanx for the tips. Now please explain what a recirprocating engine is? and a 351 Cleaveland is a ford right? What do you mean by a 350 platform? isn t the 350 a chevy? And a nailhead , what s the difference between that a the regular cleaveland , how can I tell them apart?
Appreciate the info.
Many Thanx

Pay no attention to him. Since you are discussing installing something other than a rotary he feels the need to act rotarded.

Rather since he's asking stupid questions, like in the 20B section ... n/m

if this kiddo searched the ever knowing googles - he'd have his answers.
yet, like most lazy people, just post a question - someone will paint the road map to follow.

now, just where did i leave my jdm boost at?
anyone seen it? it was mad tyte y0.
