86' FC N/A to 302 5.0 swap

I am currently in the process of intalling a Ford 302 block into my 86' N/A. im done with the first half which is pulling the 13b and tranny out. still got lots of 13b parts lying around if your intrested PM me ill let you know if ive got it. anyway back to the project. my favorite part so far is the fact that me and 2 friends litteraly lifted the 13b right out without an engine lift. it was quite a site. If your wondering my reason for doing this ill show you a pic at the end of the post. The 13b was bad and i was able to get my hands on a 302 from a friend cheap so i figure why the hell not. it will make for one hell of a fun ride when its done. im hopeing to have somewhere between 300 and 350 @ the wheels when im finished. so far i cant find anyone that fabricates engine mouts for a 302 in a 7 so its looking like im gona have to custom make my own or pay somebody to do the same. if anyone knows of someone who makes a kit let me know it would make a huge diffrence. ill keep everyone posted on how its going.

Did you get your hood clearance problem fixed? If not see if a turbo II hood will work.

hey man, i want to do the exact same engine swap. but i don't know anything about it, my dad is a good mechanic, and so is my friend, but we don't know what parts i'll need to replace/mod. if you could please tell me, i'd really appreciate it. i.e. will the engine fit in the compartment without having to cut it down, what did you do about the rear end? anything you had to replace or mod. please let me know, thanks alot. if you could email me it i'd really appreciate that. andrew_ellerman@hotmail.com
