I cant seem to find a writeup on doing a 5.0 engine swap into a FC. If someone could show me the way I would be greatfull. Thanks.

 

Easy swap. Mine actually passed smog. I used the Granny's kit. Move the radiator, Get a custom driveshaft and bolt in the engine tranny.
Torque Central had a huge data base on V8 swaps. They changed their URL but it should be easy to Google.
Oh yeah, you will need to put a hole in the hood for the intake.
Chevy small blocks do not need the hole.

 

I went on that site and found nothing about a write up for swaping in a 5.0. Although I did find a lot of rotary bashers

 

There was a thread in this forum about putting a crown vic 5.0 into an FC using custom subframe / firewall mods. The search function probably won't let you use "5.0 FC" but if you scroll down a few pages, there is a fairly large thread.

 

Man if you didn't find anything on 5.0 builds in the RX7V8 forum you are blind, there are hundreds including mine.

Don't lie about rotary bashing either, just some BS just like there is in here about V8s, if you are a troll quit it now, if you really want info go and us the search button.
