350 Engine Swap, No flames please

In doing a 350 engine swap, with everything understood, is it easier not more less costly, to go with a carb setup or an efi setup on a 350 shortblock 4 bolt main. If any of you know someone who has done this please list username. THank you

If any of you are wondering, I recently blew my motor and I am doing this for fun only not to disgrace rotory engines. (or infuriate the rotary gods)

I suggest you relocate to

http://www.torquecentral.com/forumdi...?s=&forumid=11

Lots of good info there. This swap is well documented, and relatively easy.
The majority of people on this site are intolerant of the v8 swap. You will get the $hit stirred with no real help.
To answer your question, the carb is easier, but not smog legal, if the engine came with injection. Also, the engine must be from a vehicle that is not older than the car it is going into.
The laws covering this are Federal, but enforcement varies with the state you live in.

I know what your saying crossbar. I got a blown rotary in my 1st gen and instead of getting another rotary, which I don't have the money for, I'm just gonna throw a chevy 350 that I have in the shop in there for fun and because I'm broke.

I think thread was created before Other Engine Conversions was. I wonder if the car was ever built?
