dont know, cant get it to the ground around the shop, hes planning on taking it back to the salt flats for a top speed run, it should be interesting

What do you reckon the top speed would be? 350 km/h +? with 2000 hp and such a relatively small front cross section you'd hope it would get close to 400km/h?

nelson does top notch work i might grab up one of his LSx 402's. Lots of money and a buick 400 trans huh. that thing is def the weak link. It looks fantastic!

That motor seems like it's sitting pretty low, how did the oil pan clear ?

Slill have the stock steering box ?
Must have been a project in itself just to build and get the headers in there .

stock box, custom oil pan. most of the headers nelson builds are tough, its all about a good fabricator that we share

Their's vids of this car on youtube now btw. Just look up nelson racing rx7. Youtube video claims 1600, not 1000. Probably still pretty far off, but this thing is pretty nasty either way.
