Short Lived Test Drive

Hey Everyone....another Newbie Here..just Bought My First Rotory,a $ 100 ' 88se. Had A Serverly Plugged Cat [both] Fixed That With A Hammer And Chisle [test Only] Bad Waterpump [replaced] The Next Problem...car Started Up,idled Good,had Plenty Of Power Around The Block,turned It Off,sat For 5 Minutes And Would'nt Start Again. Plugs Were Wet With Gas. I Suspect O2 Or Mas Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks In Advance

Have you tried cranking it again? FC's are notorius(sp) for the hot start problem.

ya i think it may have been warmer than the gauge was indicating,have'nt tried restarting yet.
so whats the solution to the hot start problem,if any? p.s. i love this thing

^ Yea, what he said. The hot start is usually caused by low compression or leaky injectors. Usually if you let the car sit it will start right up. If you need to start it right away then either pull the egi fuse under the hood and crank the car with the gas pedal held to the floor for about 15 seconds then put the fuse back in and try cranking again or else just pop the clutch. Ya, I know what ya mean. I love my TII.
