Well, I'm no expert. But stock S5T2 had ~200 bhp (crank, not wheel) @ 8 psi? (IIRC).
They seem to be inline with your previous numbers. However maybe that FMIC is making a world of difference....
That's all I can figure, maybe the dyno is still off, I couldn't tell ya : / Just that 197 wheel HP with 3 psi is still pretty cray.

I know the dyno calibration was off at the beginning of the runs last friday. the first few made like 180hp and like 280 tq. i asked him about calibration, and he said it cant be calibrated because its an older dyno. He made some adjustments for about 10 minutes and the numbers looked more realistic, but im starting to wonder.
I think next time i wont go there, but my tuner said i should be good up to 10 psi for now, so its gonna be a while.

Most people dyno on 4th gear, 3rd gear gives inappropriate readings ( your using gearing advantage to accelerate the car, while I assume the dyno operator has inputted 4th gear which is 1:1 vs 3rd gears 1.3:1 into dyno software ) (I have seen many times when guys want to sell cars, they dyno on 3rd and print out , makes car seems more powerful than what it is )
Also depends on pick up,
If he is syncing the dyno to car ( say @ 3000 rpm ) and you are not bang on . it will also show erroneous numbers ) .

Buttttt... acutually, I dont remember an ignition pickup being hooked up at all. I believe the only thing that was connected was the exhaust sniffer. The dyno shop owners werent the ones tuning the car, it was someone I had come from the outside. Very possible he didnt know how to set it up. doing.
We'll see if Steve Kan will be able to do it. Were having him come out for a group tune at the end of April, same shop.

i'll be out in the bay area doing some tuning on a customer's car in a few weeks, but everyone wants steve. :P
just make sure the RPM reading on the dyno matches the car, if it does and the numbers are still way off then the dyno calibration is off. on some dynos the car information also has to be put in, i don't quite know why the weight and displacement factors in on some dynos but i guess it does.

Damn i didnt know you provide that service.
On this one i do recall the cars info having to be put in, like weight and all that good stuff.
Ill be sure to check the RPM this time.
Now that im looking at the dyno sheet from last year, I realize the RPMs on the sheet only go to 7k, but i know for a fact my rev limiter is set to 7.5k, and we were definitely bouncing off of it.
Not sure if thats just what they show on the sheet, or if it was actually how the dyno was calibrated.

it's hard to say, but when you are paying $100+ per hour for the dyno you expect the operator to know how to use it otherwise it's just a glorified stationary load device.
no one really seems to know what i do, which is strange because i talk about what i do all the time. lol

I have a 88 10AE back in the day... Stock turbo, stock injectors, Greddy FMIC, Racing beat Full exhaust, FCD, Apexi S-AFC fuel controller. Thats it.. Car made 285whp / 310rwtq at 15psi. NO one would believe me ont he forums. It was a Mustang dyno - and yes I did the corrected factors. So I do believe these numbers.... Granted in my case my turbo died in about 4 months
