Ran My Best Time Yesterday!

I finally ran my best time yesterday with a 15.4 @ 89.XX, and a 2.3 60' on a bad clutch. I ran two 15.4's, two 15.5's and a 15.7 for a first run. My best previous to last night was a 15.7. The things I have done to the car are: custom intake arm, RB header, no cat, and a Borla Cat-Back.

get a better clutch and a limited slip rear end. if you can get your 60ft down to around 2.0 you'll be jammin!

I have more good news, I ran two 15.3, one a 15.328 @ 90.07, and the other was a 15.387 @ 90.01. I just got the S5 manifolds with the VDI, and I am hoping that when I put them on, I will be around a 15.1 or a 15.2. Then when I tune it hopefully I will be a really low 15, or a really high 14, hopfully!

You REALLY should fix your "bad" clutch...

Not too bad for an NA still, fix the clutch and get a nice flywheel while you're at it, then pwn the 14's .

Clutch is on its way. I purchased an ATC Street/Strip clutch. Nothing outrageous, but engough that will do the job.

What was your 1/8 Mile ET and trap? My s4 n/a got a 9.7 @ 71, I'm tryin to do some comparisons here as I haven't gotten a clean run at the 1/4 mile strip.

That was about my best stock time too. Around a 16.0 every time. That was without an intake. My best 1/8 mi was a 9.8. So you are looking at high 14 or a 15 flat.

My 7 could see the road right now if I wanted it to, it would just be driven without a Fender. I need to cut out a section of underneath where the fender mounts and weld one back in before I get it back on the road.

im hoping to run mid 14's in my car (s4 na basemodel) , after i get a better cold air intake, headers and safc with dyno tuning and better tires (mine are 185 70 14")

Right now i have ported engine, lightweight flywheel, centerforce dual frict clutch, borla catback, removed 5/6 ports, kn intake, and weight reduction. i think with just that i should be able to run a low 15 with what i have now if not a high 14
