That curve looks a lot like my car's. I found it leaning out at 7k on stock injectors when I put it on the dyno about a year ago. In a couple weeks I'm taking it back with T2 injectors and hope to get more power up top.

Wild, the RB header was a part of that equation. I would think you could extract much more power from that engine with a traditional long primary collected system like the race bridge engines use. I'm debating whether or not to try something like that for my FC, I still have my craptastic stock cat and cat back behind an RB header and it's time to change it. And I almost have a standalone finally!

You rock. No one else tunes the six port NA engines they way they should be. Usually only the race bridgeport builders go all out.

yep the exhaust was nothign special, pretty run of the mill, if just the AFR would be fixed i am certain teh car will hit over 200whp. with a better exhaust and induction system the power should be at around 220whp

im hoping to break the 200 mark by the end of august after i get a microtech and some sort of new intake set-up. Those are good numbers now just throw in a 4.88 or a 5.12 and you will be set.

i would really test the t2 intake manifold on my car, with the stock ports to see a difference of the power band.

I've been thinking more about your tuning strategy kahren, run it rich and advance timing a bit. With full timing control you can optimize it over the entire map/rpm grid.

Way back a couple years ago when 170rwhp seemed like the upper limit for na six port engines, people were reporting high 13 to low 14 air fuel ratios (PP13bnos for example, 14.1:1 with 167 rwhp on a pineapple ported S5 with true duals). Seems you've broken through that plateau even with the very strangely tuned runner lengths of the RB collected header.

So Kahren, what did you do differently when you ported that engine to make it put out those numbers. And i remember u saying this is a stage 1 port. Is there a stage2 or even 3 that you have planned yet?

yes there are multiple stages, 2 and 3, anything after is pretty much a discussion of what one is looking for out of the car and then deciding on what would eb best.
the second and 3rd stages are less streetable and take away some low end and idle is not as smooth.

Stage 3 would scare me. Stage 2 is big time!

You should convince a customer to do a stage 3, and then dyno in at 230rwhp with standalone, still n/a.
