How much can I expect??

So Ive looked and searched around and really cant find a dyno sheet with the mods I have. Was wondering what kind of power I can expect in March. I have a
s5 turbo vert. It is streetported, Corksport FMIC, 720-800cc secondaries, Apexi Neo, RA 2mm seals, stock turbo and all emisions removed. Just curious as to what you guys think that I will put down? It feels real strong on the low boost ive ran it which is 5-6lbs. Never turned it up because I need bigger injectors. I plan to have it tuned on 12lbs. Thanks for the input.

my guess would be 180-195 rwhp if you have an open exhaust.

I just made 310WHP/251Ft-Lb's on a 248 dynojet barrel. That was on a BNR stage 2 turbo with 700pri's and 780 sec's. Held an 11.5 A/F all the way up. On the interstate she gets a little lean(12.3)up top due to the increase in power with airflow over the intercooler(stock top mount). Fix'n to install some RCENG PL9-1200's as sec's...should be all set then. Lt-10s controlling, no MAF meter. stephen

I made 228whp and 210 tq @ 10psi
-S5 with stock ports and turbo
-550's all around
-Profec B II
-RB Turboback
-Microtech LT8-s
-Removed emissions

The tune was by Steve Kan on a DynoJet. AFR's are low to mid 11's

The standalone and EBC were the big players IMO

Yeah im hoping to put down around 270-280rwhp. It will be tuned by Steve Kan to in St Louis. The streetport was done by The Rotary Doctor in Missouri. It looked real good and screams over 4500-5000rmp. I cant wait to get it done.

If it's on the stock turbo then I really doubt it, even with larger injectors and a streetport. The turbo simply does not flow that much over 11-12 psi. You're also still on the stock ECU running a piggyback.

What are you using for boost control?

Yeah, steve kan is a great rotary tuner, but to answer your question dave at KD Rotary tunes my stuff. atkins motor, mild street port. You can see the dyno chart at bristoldyno.com under the mazda rx7 folder. last name wallace. I had the gain set low on my Blitz SBC-id2 so the power came on slow but just kept coming. i'm going to step it up as soon as my PL9-1200's get here for secondary's. later, stephen.

you should have more than enough fuel for a stock turbo. You shouldnt have it held down to 5-6psi. I would be a little suprised if you made 280whp on a stock turbo. I know i made 216/200 on a stock s4 motor with fmic, 2.5"dp, mid pipe, and 3" catback. I have seen 250-260 on street ported motors with s5 turbos.

My car now made 270hp/285tq on a bnr stage 1, 750secondaries, apexi safc-II, 2.5 dp, 2.5 rb midpipe, 3" hks hi-power, greddy fmic. all on a stock port s4.

^I dont know why it leans out. I assumed it was because of the streetport. Anything over 5-6lbs above 4000rpm and it likes to go lean. I have had it so rich that it trys to bog and lean it out a few and it still wasnt where it needed to be.

the best possible thing that you could ever do is an engine management system.

mmmjesse said it all.....standalone is everything. one not necessarily better than the other, just get the one that the closest tuner good with rotary's uses. I had several piggy-backs, never a good one, finally got a microtech lt-10s and I have never been so happy with this car....Merry Christmas, Stephen.

Well if i did go that route I would want to get the easiest instalation one and optioned? I was thinking Apexi, wouldnt that be plug and play with the Banzai Racing harness? This would all have to be done by the end of March to. Thats when Im going to St Louis to have Steve Kan tune it.

If you have a large street port and 12 psi.... I sure you will be creeping on 300hp easy.

The PowerFC should be perfect for you using the banzai harness. Just make sure your current engine harness is in good condition, ie: not cracking, etc.

i think with your mods you should do at least 250 whp with a good tune. i dynoed 250whp on s4 RA rebuilt stockport block, stock turbo at about 10psi. the boost dropped off to 6 psi up top.

with a street port i doubt you will be able to hold anyhting near 12 psi towards redline, and be prepared to have your turbo oil seals go out after not too long. but if they do, then its a good excuse to go BNR

I'm confused. Is this with the "stock" turbo or the hybrid bnr stage 4 in your sig?

Well it was going to be a stock turbo but is a BNR Stage 4 now. I also got a Power FC and bigger fuel injectors. Just waiting to get tuned now. So how much do you guys think I will have with those mods? Thanks
