Highest HP on stock Turbo??

Just wondering who has the highest HP on a stock turbo?
Numbers and Dyno graphs would be awesome.

Oh for cryin' out loud.

Its not enough that you get chewed apart for nearly a YEAR in another thread with your attrocious, and yet to be proven claims, but you bring it in HERE now?

For the last time, post a walk around vid and then tape your run....its not that hard. If you weren't bull shitting you'd have done it 4 months ago.

Yes, it is hard to believe.

LOL @ stock ecu and 11.8.

I wonder what your air temps are since that turbo is wheezing at 15psi.

I made 1000whp with 1 rotor combined... the rear rotor had 1 cracked apex seal and 3 bad side seals. The front rotor had 2 cracked apex seals and 3 bad side seals.

Man did they spin!!! I probably revved it to 25,000rpm to get the 1000whp. I love rotaries!!

WOOOOO!!!!

On a more sensible note...

If you make 230whp on a stock turbo, STOP there. Any further will just put stress on everything. Restrictive exhaust, exceeding the efficiency range on the compressor. If you really want to safely make more power spend the $$ and put an upgraded turbo (BNR, complete kit, whatever) on it. You won't suffer the sadness of blowing an engine, and you'll get to enjoy the anticipation of the first drive after installing new parts.

Well im not worried too much about supporting mods. the only thing that is lacking is the, injectors, FMIC and suspension componets.
Current mods are;
Street ported JDM s5 motor
Mazdaspeed Clutch
HKS intake
Hallman boost controller
Megan racing BOV ( soon to Apexi)
Walbro 225 on the way
SRS down pipe
Full 3" exhaust
All emissions removed
OMP removed ( running 2 stroke premix)
PANSport tunned ECU
MSD 6al
Dual alternator pully
Autometer boost gauge and A/F ratio gauge.
Made 201 Hp at 7 psi
So i figure i can play around with the stock turbo till i get my stock turbo refitted with a different compressor wheel. all i really wanna make is in the high 200s to low 300s. I am going tomorrow to check my A/F ratios check at 10-14 psi.

I'll let you know right now that if you're using a MBC, you're gonna have a hard time beating 250whp.

I hit 230 hp, and 243 ftlbs, But it was a lil too lean for my liking. heres the sheet.
This is at 14 psi with nothing but the ECU controlling fuel ( it is a pansport) Stock injectors, and Stock fuel pump. A/F ratio stayed pretty good through out the pulls.

What surprises me more than anything else, are those torque numbers.

I don't think I've ever seen a rotary push out more torque than HP.

I'm still on my stock turbo, but I'm not gonna try to chase numbers while I'm still using it.

dude my car made around 250rwhp and 250rwtq on stock turbo. small turbos (small for the engine) make a lot of low end torque (relatively speaking). it's like that on most turbo cars. the boost hits quickly because the turbo is small, giving you that torque, then the boost drops off (again because it's small), leaving you the relatively low hp.

Nice numbers. in the next week or so my car is going back under the knife and having the suspension completely revamped. just ordered an energy suspension kit, and K sport coil over. After this i think we are going to mate a T3 or T4 intake compressor and housing to the stock S5 exhaust housing and compressor. and Do a little more tunning. see what kinda numbers come of it.

I made 245 on a dyno dynamics dyno at 6psi. Which was just shy of 300hp at the "crank".

The engine was at 8psi for most of the powerband and dropped off to 6 at redline, where it made peak power.

I have a friend who claims that he made 300 on the stock turbo, with microtec, 3in exhaust and upgraded injectors, running 14 -15 psi on the stock IC

Since his turbo only lasted 3 weeks, I'm almost inclined to believe him...
