first time at track 13.9 how does it look?

it was my first time at the track ever, first couple runs sucked bad spun the tires bad missed 3rd ect. then my best run
R/T... .471
60... 2.077
330... 5.894
1/8... 9.011
MPH... 79.62
1000... 11.725
1/4... 13.988
MPH... 99.41

It was ok im my opinion for my first time there but on that run I raced a SRT-10 and I won by .8275 I liked that. but the whole night even though it was boosting 12PSI top end seemed to suck. oh and my clutch was slipping off and on (stock clutch) let me know what you think.
thanks

what rpm did u shift into 3rd?

what rpm into 4th? or did u hold it?

the 60 foot is great. the 8th mile time is on track to me a mid 13.

but your trap speed seems kinda slow, the clutch is slipping a good bit it seems.

im thinking that maybe you shifted into 4th at like 6.5k or something and didnt accell from there much if any

dunno till i got that info.

I think I shifted at 6.5 into 3rd and 4th, I held it longer in the other runds but my 60's sucked so I was in the 14's also I didnt have a tire gauge so I think I was running at like 35 PSI or higher.

You could probably run a mid 13 with a better clutch etc.

Yeah, trap speed seems a little low for what you've got.

Theoretically, with your mods, a 12 second pass isn't out of the question with slicks.

I found 2 problems the past couple days
I had a boost leak IC coupler wasnt quite on all the way so it wouldnt get into high boost and leak out was pushing 12PSI the it would drop to 10 fixed it and held at 12PSI.
and the BEST ONE this is my first turbo car last winter I didnt have my FMIC or mods I was all stock, when I was at the track it was over 80 and humid as hell, It got cold here in FL after the hurricane passed through and OMG ITS CRAZY now I started hitting 10 PSI in first fast, 11 in 2nd and 14 in 3rd and 4th!!!! i turned down my boost controller 14 is to high around town on stock turbo right???
I think with all that fixed a new clutch and lower tire pressure ill run alot faster!!! I LOVE THE COLD!!!!

That's fricken fast for your first time!
Be proud of the 2.0xx 60' time, unless your track is prepped really well???

Not bad at all Josh! Nice 60ft, you should probably hold those gears out longer and you'll run better time. Where did you run? I would hope you'd call me and let me know if you plan on taking it to the track when you're in town.

Very nice job, I know it took me alot more than my first time to make it to the 13's and over 100mph. Get some good tires on that, drop the 60' to 1.9 and run some mid 13's!
