1800/1900 rpms. I have it down to 1500/1600 now and the sound is a little slower, not much though. Motor only has a hour of run time on the new seals, used housings, reason for keeping the idle a little higher. Also no Idle Control valve to help with the cold start idle. Wen night I'll make some 18psi passes if the tune is close. This thing revs fast even with the stock unlocked 1st gen dizzy controlling my timing/spark.
Few port photos before the final clean up.
reason for the pins, it's a S4 motor.

Heck Mine is a S6 and I still had it pinned
What was your oil pressure when You fired it up?
Before I was only getting 80 and 60 at idle and lost a motor on the dyno
This time I bought everything new (oil chain, pump etc)
and shimmed the front regulator and Now thank god I'm pegging the stock gauge 120 PSI on cold start
(did blow up the long oil cooler line lol)
20-50W CTX

new 60 ft time
Hit a 1.49 last night during test and tune..
This was at under 30psi. tried to turn the boost up to beat my best mph but found out the shifting gets harder at that power level. Ran 6.9 at 105mph in the 1/8. all stock from the trans back!!
Aired the 26/10.5 et streets down to 13psi.

Car has been torn apart. Wife accepted another two year tour in Okinawa, our home.
Best the car did was 10.5 at 140mph at IFO at Ennis last month. 85% tuned at 30psi.
