Finally got into the 12's

Last run of the day today I ran this:

R/T .099
60' 1.793
330 5.029
1/8 7.731
mph 92.62
1000 10.071
1/4 12.044
mph 114.76

I think the car has an 11 in her. Maybe I'll skip a meal or two and see what happens.

I should be able to get a mid 11 on a better day with a better launch. I was racing into a 30mph headwind. Our altitude is 3800ft at the track. The air wasn't that great either till the last run of the day it was starting to get better then the track closed. It was just a TNT from 1 to 5 pm. Should run better in the evening.

Hm, 19psi and a 62-1, and only a 115mph trap speed? Do you have a full mod list?

So , how much we talking here? For a tune? Say with a E6K with a wideband in the car?

He charges 300.00 for a street tune. I believe.

BDoty: Last dyno I had was 409whp @ 16PSI at RP in Garland a year ago. I've sence had the car re-tuned and upped the boost to 19PSI, it's running much better. It's not a HP issue. More of a bad air day issue (DA was around 4500) and running into the wind.

I dunno what the factory car weighs but with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas it comes in at 3200lbs also.

Yeah, I drove it 45 miles to the track, raced and drove back home on the same tires as well. She is no trailer queen or a race car, just a fun weekened toy that happens to run pretty good and has a sweet system in it.
