It's not the wildlife, it's the type of dyno used on this side of the world. Read this page for an explanation. ;)

Ted that was with the v-trim compressor in the stock turbo housing correct?

J-Rat 08-30-03 03:38 PM

Well, I hit 14.6 last night.

Rued 09-01-03 11:03 PM

so all these times are on normal tires?

Good point. I personally say you roll on what you drive in on. I feel dumb taking out my spare tire at the track, because I dont drive around with out it.

J-Rat 09-02-03 09:49 PM

My times are on junky ass Uniroyal Tiger Paws.

Actually, no. :(
It was on a "T5/T6" compressor wheel upgrade (in the stock, bored-out compressor housing) with a clipped stock turbine wheel.&nbsp A T5/T6 compressor wheel is one step up from an S-trim (which is the smallest T04B wheel you can get).

My runs were made on 225/50/16 Nitto NT-555R Drag Radials, but with a crappy 2.143 60' time due to excessive negative camber in the rear due to the extreme suspension drop.

The car would've run faster if I dialed out the camber at the time - live and learn!

It's not a FC but it was with a 86 turboII motor. 2720lbs. BFG drag radials.

rx-7s rock 09-08-03 12:59 PM

I pulled a 16.3 at 82mph or so. bone stock.

RX7withNitrous 09-10-03 09:41 AM

i'm getting my car dyno'd and tuned saturday so i'll post the numbers then. If it's running right im going down to gainsville next wednesday to run at the track so i'll post the numbers of that also. :) Im excited to see what she'll do.

SnowmanSteiner 09-10-03 02:33 PM

So Gsracer do you have a port or anything. Because I'm pretty much mod to mod with you. I'm waiting on a dp a boost controler and to get tuned but I really doubt that my car could pull anywhere near a 14 let alone a 13.8.

gsracer 09-10-03 04:38 PM

stock ports, I'll scan some timeslips when I get back home. I'm up at college station right now. Keep in mind this was on a cool night (mid 50's) at HRP (supposedly a great track)

I'll be going back up there on thanksgiving, running .85bar and going for 105 traps and low 13's on drag radials.

nosd13b 09-13-03 09:31 PM

15.7 1/4 mile time is my best so far. mods-intake, converted over to single exauhst and a lil 40 shot of n2o. all i got was 2 runs in last time i went to the track(it was really busy) and its closed for the season now so im gonna have to wait and see if i can put down better times till next year.

rx72c 09-14-03 12:20 AM

A mate ran a 13.1 @ 106mph
He had a stock car with air filter, front mount and runnin 14 psi.
The car was an n/a now converted to a turbo
Had some radials on.
Ive got heaps more than that but havnt run yet so should be getting some serious times

Just wondering, my friend has a s2 with a 13b turbo doing around 300rwhp.
On street tires what kind of times is he lookin at, and with radials what times would he be lookin at
Thats 300rwhp in australia.

kabooski 09-14-03 07:01 PM

16.3 1/4 mile time was my best but that was completely stock. i bumped up the n2o to a 70 shot and on the street i completely handed an 88 gxl its ass. the gxl had intake, exauhst , plugs and wires. so im thinking im running a low 15 now but thats what im thinking i wont know till i go back to the track. i also know for a fact that my n2o wasnt hooked up correctly with the 40 shot at the track so im hoping for some decent times next time out. i see in your sig you also are running nitrous. are you runnin a wet kit? and how big of a shot?
