I ran a 9.8 at 75mph with my N/A ( stock port) mods listed below. When I ran the 93 R1 with DP, CB and intake it ran a best of 8.9. taking out a new mustang GT with ease..

1/4 mile times
What quarter mile times have you guys done? Has anyone here got into the 11's or 12's????
Do you think 12 second quarters are possible with the right setup and 200kw (280hp) at the wheels for a turboII???

hey, are you talking 280hp at the wheels in NZ or in the States? your dynos usually are a good bit lower than ours. I would say that your 280rwhp would probably be ~320 at the wheels, here.
And yes, that's good for an easy 12 second run on some good street tires, much less drag radials/slicks.
There are a bunch of us in the twelves, and (albeit not as many) some of us in the elevens.
welcome to the forum.

Im talking 280hp in New Zealand which is around 200kw at the whees. I saw an old series 1 rx7 in a magazine that was putting out roughly 210kw at the wheels (New Zealand horsepower) and was doing 10 second passes

so what mods have the guys done to get into the 12's?
I am getting a microtech ecu install and full dyno tuning done. According to the guys doing it they recon that I will easily have 200+ kw at the wheels (Already got 3 inch exhaust and air filter)

From there you would find this: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...2F4+mile+times only seven or eight posts down.
Please try the search function. It is there for a reason.

lets make it easy for those lame people that can't search...
We'll combine all the 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile and all the other types of these threads and make it a sticky... would that make everyone happy...
