I have one. Still no dyno. Will have the info by this summer. Slow build. Will compare this to my turbonetics 60-1 turbo. I hope it works great

the prices have gone up, but unless you are buying the stage 4, it appears all turbo work from BNR is now $825 regardless of stage. I would surmise this is because he want's to promote the stage 3 "why not?" factor. best bang for the buck.

I personally am going to run this setup by the guys at turbo-labs and a few other reputable turbo builders and see what they can come up with as well. Never hurts to shop, but I think the stage 3 is priced well. Just need to factor in shipping costs there and back so figure another $75-100 stateside.

My numbers were at 14 lbs using a manual boost controller. Of I hook up the electric controller I can get more out of it using the boost correction feature and control how soon the boost comes in, but right now I have more than enough for autocross

I made 373hp and 310 lb-ft on my stock twins... That was on a SHITTY tune with AFR's at 10.0's from 4500 rpm up and spraying WAY too much water I later found out...

Yes... yes it is... I humbly accept my shame and offer the most sincere apology I can give. I'm very new to using forums period, as I'm sure you can tell... Thank you for your patience.

Left: hp
Right: torque in Nm
lower graph: air/fuel

390.8hp @6745
446.3Nm @5891

Altough I am curious on putting my car on other dyno's to see if it is correct. But then again, numbers don't have to mean anything.

VA DYNO Results Boggled at results

So I had my car DYNO'ed and the results were crazy low at 224hp. I was told that the dyno was reading low,but still. 1 of the guys had an NA that ran 171 on it. So I am only making 54hp more?

13B not ported
Stage 3 BNR Series 5 Turbo
15 PSI
720/1000 Injectors
Walbro 255pump rewired
93 pump gas
Adaptronic PNP tuned
Fluidyne radiator
Greddy FMIO
3.5 in DP
3" racing beat

Temperature was 80 degree and it was humid out as well. I am pretty disappointed with the #'s. So does the NA #'s look about right? Any idea why I am getting such low #'s? My tuner was there as well. He told me the dyno was reading low. I am kinda boggled as I thought this turbo would have me in the 360 hp range. Does something not sound right looking at what mods I have? What can I do to improve those #'s I am thinking I need to get another turbo, manifold exhaust setup at this point.

DYNO Run

I am not going to say their name. However they are a specialist and well known. Is there anything I am missing as far as my mods. I am uploading my DYNO. I am just looking for recommendations as far as do I have the right mods? If so then how can I see what my what my weak point is? Do I pay for another dyno tuning session? I just had him street tune it and not on the DYNO. Would putting it on the dyno to tune make a huge difference?

The mod list looks great.

The dyno doesn't.

The dyno smoothing was on 5 and the line is still very very wavy= something is definitely wrong with the car.

3rd gear pulls alone tell me they were afraid the car was going to come apart right there on the dyno.

Check compression and if that has even pulses on each rotor and over 85psi each rotor face (schrader valve removed) check out the ignition system.

170rwhp on a NA RX-7 is quite high and Dynojets are pretty damn consistent.

Thanks for the reply and your advice. I will test the compression. I did the rebuild on this engine last year so hopefully all is well fingers crossed. Now I didn't show the guy my dyno printout. So maybe I should show him that as well.

I had a similar low power issue, close to 300 when expecting more, and it turned out to be an issue with my throttle body throttle plates not opening completely causing an air restriction.

So I sent the dyno to him and he says all that wavy line is just the internal waste gate trying to keep the boost steady and that is a normal looking graph.
