Yeah, its about 395 wheel without the race, and who knows with the alchy. Probably a blown motor.

Also, you are correct. The original plan was to pull the motor and go ahead and rebuild and port, but it just kept growing. Now its just sort of fun to see what I can do with the stockport. Believe me, its a wild ride. Once the motor pops, you can definately count on a mild port, but in my opinion, how much more then 430 do I REALLY need?

Well, I was talking about beating him in hp #s, not a race. And are Miatas really that fast on drag? I see them around 300 hp #s, but I know they do not have much top end power and is mostly midrange. Well, thats how my 1.8 Miata felt, but then again I didn't have turbo. I know Miata's are light, but its all about powerband, not peak hp, right? Either way, I ain't racing him, we are just competing in hp #s for the Dynoday event next year.

So, you are saying, you wouldn't want to port?

If the motor pops, I will definately port. But it wont be as aggressive as you might think.

Well, there will be no way to find out unless I challenge him. So, I think I might have a friendly race with him after the dynoday event next year. I can't wait for next summer. Knowing myself pretty well, when I make plans, I usually speed up the process because I get to anxious and impatient. but we'll see. it will happen for sure though. The streetport rebuild, and bnr stage 1 and FMIC and 14-15psi tune. and if somehow money falls on my lap, then To4e with .57 front and .84 a/r with HKS manifold and wastegate and megasquirt standalone ecu with 1600cc injectors(doubt this will happen though unless I don't buy a Miata, but I really need a daily driver, gas is a BITCH with the 7).
