6 port streetport runs 13.88@97.02mph

My Kids 91 vert ran 13.8@97mph today at Island dragway in NJ(non- turbo.....powered by nitrous 239rwhp). She would have ran a bit better but only had 2 practice runs. I feel the car has a 13.5 to 13.4 run with the current nitrous tune up it has. Today was her very first run with nitrous. She was a bit nervous, but she is a natural. The vert is running stock ecu and stock afm..

R/T .025
60 ft 1.9
ET. 13.88
MPH. 97.02

the run was on stock tires. with more nitrous power and some draq radials 12.9 seconds are very close.

What stock tires are these? 1.9 60' times are very good, The best times I ever got were 2.15-2.2s on street tires. MPH seems alittle low for those power numbers, I trapped at 95-97mph intake, exhaust, streetport, and a few other things.

Rx7 has alot more in it. Remember experience plays a big role in drag racing. this was her very first day racing with the nitrous being applied. More test and tunning is coming up soon. She recently got her license and yesterday was her 2nd day at the drag strip. That is a mayor factor as far as trying to extract all the potential out the vehicle.

I think I'm looking at a rookie of the year here :-) or I'm just a super proud Dad..

Don't forget the 91 convertible is a heavy car 3000+lbs with the driver in the car.

165whp all motor. nothing to tune the rich fuel mixtures, but that is perfect for a little nitrous..

165 with a streeport? I had 160rwp without. Hmmm I think the car can squeeze quite a few more out of that engine.

Your right, We just made two runs all motor and went straight to nitrous tunning. I really wanted to spend my time tunning with nitrous. Even after 2 hours on the dyno, I barely had released the full potential of the nitrous. It took, 2 dyno sessions and about 28 dyno runs to safely extract 261rwhp and 227tq without breaking the engine.
