442 rwhp--New Dyno Results
I tuned & dyno'd at 3000 miles after the rebuild (407 rwhp at 14psi), and at 7500 miles, she was starting to run pretty crappy, so back to the dyno for a little more tuning. So after a little more break in, and a throttle body modification (Brian's TB mod) we got 442 at 14 psi. Below is a list of my mods:
1979 Triumph Spitfire

Haltech E6K
Turbonetics T04 60-1 w/.84 a/r divided p-trim turbine
50 mm HKS external wastegate
Greddy ProfecB boost controller
720cc/min primaries, 1600cc/min secondaries
Walbro high flow fuel pump in 15 gal ATL fuel cell
AEM variable rate FPR

nice! i believe i remember that engine. in fact i have plenty of pictures of it if its the one i'm thinking of. its the one that was painted british racing green, right? i remember brian having to fly out to colorado due to a problem with the extra dowel pin not letting the engine seal properly. nice numbers!

Good numbers, but I think your boost reading is off or something......
The reason I make this comment is because on your 6 psi pulls on Apr 24 and Dec 21, you've got around 200 lbs-ft at 5500 and about 300 peak rwhp.
Your more recent graph shows a 442 rwhp and a 368 rwhp run... at 14 and 6 psi.. ??? Somehow you pulled out 300 lbs-ft of torque at 5500 rpm at 6 psi? That's 50% more torque from tuning alone! My guess is that would be around a 10 PSI pull.
I am not trying to start a battle, just trying to make sure we've got the right boost level. Can you double check it?
Thanks,
Brian

I don't think the boost controller was changed (low boost setting), although I suppose it's possible...we didn't do a data log on that dyno pull. The boost guage on the dash is attached to a different (probably less accurate) place on the manifold than the Haltech...it showed 6-8 psi on that particular pull.
We did, however, do a data log on the 14 psi pull, so I'm pretty certain that the big power pull is accurate, which is really all I'm showing off here.
As far as starting a battle, you know me better than that...when flames get thick I just smile and quit posting (hence the low post numbers).

got any times?
I may not get many chances at it, Bandemere won't let a convertible car without a full racing cage run if below 11 seconds. I'd like to get my traction/launch control hooked up first, should lower launch times...

I'm also curious to know your timing numbers at the 14-15 PSI range. How much split do you run? I run about 15 deg leading timing with a 18 degree split at 14 PSI. I am running a bit richer than you at about 10.8-11.2 AFR in that range. Got any pictures of your porting?

Bah! I've been trying to get Rx7 guys to meet and you have such a beautiful car and never came for a visit! You should visit the regional forum every now and then! Awesome car!

Awesome numbers, very similar setup to mine, except you put down 30 more horses. But then again my car was dyno'd on a very hot and humid day, that could be the cause.
BTW- I love your car, nice creativity.
