245kw @ 13PSI Hybrid turbo

Hey guys, Ive used this forum for years and can really attribute almost anythign and everything ive ever learned about my FC to the help and support from this forum.
I dyno'd my car on friday and below you can see the result, The pic is big, but im not sorry, get faster internet, its 2010!

We ran into problems making more boost because the exhaust housing/turbine wheel were to restrictive.

The engine set up is as follows
13bt block, extended port and 14 dowels in total with a few other engine mods that would normally take place.
S5 hybrid turbo with 60-1 comp wheel and housing
Haltech e6x
MSD 6a on the stock primary T2 coils
Walbro pump and malpassi reg
680cc primarys
1680cc secondarys
FD3s upper inlet mani with a 1" match ported spacer plate
FD3s TB
6lb flywheel and solid centre 6puck brass button clutch and 1 ton P plate
600x300x75 FMIC with 2.5 inch piping
stock rad with 16" thermo fan ( haltech controller)

Lots of fun to drive=)

For those that don't know 245 Kw = 329 Hp.

Nice! I bet it's a fun ride!

thank you nick d, i never cared for the metric system because im american

but that hybrid turbo your using ( to the op), im guessing its similar to a bnr stage 3 or 4 right?

wait do bnr's even have 60-1's?

so from looking at your dyno you get a nice jolt in power around 4.5k right?

do you notice any major lag from 1st - 3rd street pull? (I know you play around on the street haha)

Lag? whats lag??? hahaha jk.
mate, its was amazing to drive. There was obviously some lag in 4th and 5th if crusing but in the low gears it wasnt an issue. I could chop 3rd in the wet at 100kph and spin the wheels up. and it would try to break traction in any of the low gears if driving thru windys.
I blew this motor up at 150mph 2 weeks ago. got a new Bridgeport turbo sitting in the shed now and the turbo is having the turbine wheel backcut to allow me to run higher boost

What caused the failure? Overboost? Fuel starvation? End of life? That sucks, but sounds like your moving on up anyway... Good luck with the new motor...

I cant be sure what caused it. Probably a culmiation of factors, im leaning towards apex seal failure due to weakness caused by lack of support due to very large exhaust ports. combined with a possible lean spot, maybe the fuel pump couldnt keep up. I did not notice a pop or lack of power, I stoped accelerating and slowed down and it stalled when i let the revs drop and that was that. I really cant be sure what caused it
