1st time running rx-7

Ran the car a couple times tonight and I ran a best of 14.8 secs in the 1/4 mile. I thought this was extremely good considering my mods I've done and the fact that I didin't heat my tires coming out of the box. I beat a Nissan Sentra Spec V, Pontiac Firebird Trans AM and a v6 Mustang, all these cars were modded how much I don't know. The Firebird was the best though because this guy spun his tires like crazy trying to heat them up and all the fans on the side of the staging lane were going nuts, and then theres me who comes along and doesn't even bother to heat the tires. Just barely edged him out at the finish line.

Yeah, 14.8 is pretty good for your mods. What was your trap speed and your 60ft. time?

I have no clue how much boost im running.. Can't be much more than stock both cats are gone but the exhaust system still contains all the stock sized pipes. My trap speed was 99.47 MPH and my 60 ft. was 2.572.

man you can knock down that 60ft easily and if so you are looking low 14's. Gluck man you def have much more potential if your 60's are 2.5's

Nice. Very good times and you can be lower with a better 60ft.
I'd bet your boost range is 8-9psi maybe more if you creeped.

Nice, that's a great mph for the mods you have. Get a turboback and an FCD and you'll crack 100mph for sure.

I'm pretty sure I have a FCD because the car has no cats and it definately should be hitting fuel cut, I havent added any mods to the car since buying it so anything besides the weight reduction was done prior to me purchasing it and I'm unaware of it.
