1987 TII track time.

b eve it or not first time ever at the drag strip. i have all mods in sig.
the ones that matter are...
3rd gen fuel pump
1st gen SAFC
2in custom cold air intake
2.5in Bonez down pipe
custom 3in dp back exsaust
custom EZ speed short shifter
ACT street strip cluch
1500lb presure plate
225/50/16 goodyear eagles

R/T .699
60 2.324
330 6.294
1/8 9.460
MPH 79.00
1000 12.184
1/4 14.467
MPH 99.70

i am happy with it. and it scared the guys i work with. they all have last gen cameroes...i have talked about a 3 rotor...and to think this is with a motor and tranny and turbo with 160xxx + on it. i plan on going back next week. well see what happenes then.

please tell me what you think. i launched at 5k and side stepped the clutch. didnt hook up till 2nd. after bouncing off the rev limiter...critisism is apreciated.

similar to my first time at the strip:

60' 2.291
330' 6.300
1/8 9.466
mph: 78.62
1000 12.165
1/4 14.434

at the time I had
RB turboback, fcd, 720cc injectors, act street clutch, running about 10psi

that 60-ft has got to go down..........

a 2.0 60-ft should give you a high 13 sec run (13.99)

try a 4k launch..and if your spinning tires alot....alittle throttle modulation to get som traction.

every thing not listed is stock. motor as about 80k on it. stock ports, stock turbo, stock wastegate. stock injectors, stock intercooler. i will have a worked over s5 turbo soon. i am looking into getting bigger tires. i know i need to work on the launch. try draging the clutch or something.

Dont sidestep the clutch, just give it a quick slip. Working on that should get your 60' down to more of a respectable level
