I thought a perfect rt was .500? Like that was the lowest you could get?

reaction time has nothing to do with ET unless its bracket racing.

the timer doesnt start until the car launches. so you can sit on the line for 10 seconds and run a 15.5

Agreed. That's why I stuck with DSMs for so long. But I didn't buy this thing for straight line speed anyway, so I don't feel much of a loss.

Hightest mph was a 15.1@97.92mph in my old S5 n/a Rx-7. No weight reduction whatsoever. Best time was a 14.9@93~94mph(?) Before the BS flag is raised, do a search with my name, and find out how much power my car was making, and what was done to it. CJ

I just Gteched a 15.5 @ 95, and another time a 15.6 @ 97 . . .

What do good drivers run with a ~96 mph car?

Street port, ported intake, and *stock* exhaust.

uhm... ~96 mph should be in the 14's i'd think, or at least low 15's. My 15.3 run with my shitty 60' of 2.35 trapped a 90.70

I've got a date with a real track in a week. My header will be where it belongs - on the car!

I just ran a 15.56@90.13 in my Sport. My 3rd gear is all buggered, which destroyed my chances at doing any better.

Lack of power was felt in my car in 3rd gear if my car pulled in 3rd like it dos in 1st and 2nd then i'd be in low 14s. But NMext I am going to get a header, MSD ignition, and spriings. I still have yet to run my car at the track since i ported the tb, did the tb mod, and got new wheels and tires and an lsd. Those mods since i've been to the track should put me intoo 14s. I'm hoping for a ,mid 14 on the stock ports, then i'll port

That's gearing 101. The actual wheel torque drops in every gear, of course 1st will pull harder then second, second harder then 3rd, etc.

The only way to make 3rd pull harder is to put in shorter gears or add power.

wired open ports sucks for just cruising around on the street and coming around a street corner in third and its at like 2k rpm and it takes forever to accel cause theres no low end power. but i have straight pipes and so no backpressure to open them with so i took them off. im doing the s4-s5 IM swap so im gonna wait to try any of the actuator opener mods till then.as soon as i hit about 3500rpm it pulls perfectly fine.
