13.56 @ 103mph / Alaska Raceway Park

I'm pretty stoked, yesterday was my first time at the track & I did halfway decent on my second run.
13.5 is what I had hoped to hit..
I still need to do some tuning, and I had some room for improvement on the launch...messed my bunrout up too.
It was fun though,
This was at the Test & tune after the Kool Kruz car show, so all the old muscle cars were there. I was supprised that I was faster than alot of them.

not too shabby for your second time out man! yank that short time down into the sub 2 seconds and you should be low 13's as you sit.

I don't know, the only dyno up here is $300 an hour & they don't seem to like rotarys..
They won't tune anyone's car unless they buy a bunch of HKS parts.

Probably around 240-245 to the wheels. Nice time man, work on your 60' and you'll be all set.

I'm guessing 200 at the wheels.

Good times.

nah he has about 230-235whp. check the 1/8th mile mph for a power estimate. i made 222 and trapped like 81.5mph in my blue FC a few years ago.

Cool thanks ya'll,
how did you calculate the HP?, I'll have to search that up.

I built the car up myself, starting almost a year ago..
from a $500 N/A with a blown motor, to this..
'Spent more that it's worth,.. but it was still worth it!

Thanks for the HP calc.

I'm hitting about 14 psi through 2nd & third gear, & I have to keep off the trottle a little in 4th & 5th gear to keep from creeping way past that.

I kept my intercooler pipes short, & a small IC core, with low pressure drop.
I know my setup isn't very safe yet, so I'm planning on getting 720 secondaries.
Also waiting for someone to make a plug & Play Megasquirt for S5 TII.

A question:
I'm running my timing at the factory setting.
With my mods and boost, Should I be doing anything like retarding it at the CAS a couple of degrees, to stay on the safe side?
or would that not make a difference.

the buildup/pile up has definatly started, but when i run the car in ak, itll still be on my curent mods. The actual transformation my car will take wont start till i get the s5 motor rebuilt.
