Thats about right for your mods, get some slicks and you can cut into the low 13s/High 12s with boltons like I did.. (13.2 at 6K ft elevation)

Stock motor, so yes, stock ports. Wastegate is ported to stock flapper. I need to port it bigger w/ bigger flapper. Walbro fuel pump. I run about 9-10psi, still creeps.

hmm.. curious how mine will run.

FD fuel pump, removed emisions, no a/c or p/s 3" DP back
underdrive main pulley, e-fan, greddy emanage (getting dyno tuned via friends uncles shop!) 950cc secondaries. custom TID. etc etc etc/ should be aorund the same.

Low Impedance you should be faster hands down just add a boost controller and try and set some air fuel for a spike. but with tuning you should be at 10lbs rock solid. You can't tune a rtek so I would assume they set it to run rich for saftey and rich = HP loss

isn't the rtek 1.7 supposed to handle 12psi?

Forgot to add. Has A/C, and never came with P/S.

And I believe the rtek will handle 12psi. But I can only find text that states "above 9psi". No where have I found a max psi.

I should be about the same as you right there, until I get my BNR Stage 4 and all the goodies with it. The only difference will be that I'll be running on a rebuild w/ 3mm apex seals and a descent sized street port.

the only things I have different are stock injectors/ walbro/safcII and I would be ecstatic if I ran that well.

Nice run!

This is why I have never supported the Rtek. Not knowing if something is properly controling your air fuel and timing is way to much of a chance for me. I would not suggest anyone who plans on ever going to a drag strip or any other type of racing to get a rtek. If the seconds turbo system was so proned to boost spikes it would be a little safer but it is not. Thats why my only conclusion is that the rtek has to be set to run pig rich or by 4th gear your motor is missing a apex seal.

no this is a simple answer. the stock pressure sensor sees up to either 14 or 15psi so that is as high as the rtek will go.
