Adjust the wastegate until there is tension between the actuator and the door.

Got boost on the primary (under 4K RPM) but the boost drops to nothing when the secodary turbo kicks in above 4K. Any help would be appreciated.

It could be anything----check the flapper door in the y-pipe, check for crimped vacuum hoses, bad solenoids, backwards/bad check valves, misrouted vacuum hoses.....

The seq system can be a nightmare to properly diagnose.

Everything was working with my stock sequential setup prior to the BNR upgrade so I don't think its a solenoid or check valve issue. I've replaced all vacuum hoses (a while ago) so I don't think that's the problem either.

Your suggestion of checking the Y pipe flap is a good one, because its supposed to open for the second turbo to kick in. I may take you up on a visit to NJ if I can't sort it out.

Well, sometimes replacing all the vacuum hoses is what leads to the problem

Yup, an A-Spec 500R many years ago. T4 35R with a T04Z-sized compressor wheel (67mm up from 61mm).

I was running the BNRs non-seq and wanted better response with more power potential. The 500R gives this to me. 500+ rwhp on pump gas boost levels (been running it at 21-22 psi) and very good response below 4k. It's also been better suited for the constant pounding of road race duties with a full 4 inch exhaust, better heat protection, and the ability to mount a GZ LIM for better/more even flow.

The BNRs in sequential form yield a great powerband at a very low price with ~400 rwhp potential. For the street and auto-x you really can't beat them

There's a post on "the other forum" from a guy that installed the GZ lim with the twins. He details how to do it in the post and it's not that much work. I know I can't link to it directly because rx7club doesn't like them or something..... but here's the important part of the link.

You have to put "the other forums" web address before that link. Because of RX7Club's policy, If I just post the link it will come out like this.
