the sound this turbo makes comes from the ported compressor shroud.

all other ported compressor shrouds on other turbos arent as high pitched due to the open space the turbos have.

if you look closely at the T51R, this space is pretty damn small, by no more 10mm, which gives the turbos its unmistakable sound.


T51R's are pricey as well.... the cheapest i found one was for $2k.


But i now realize that my goals need to be a bit more realistic, so when im ready for a single turbo, im going with either a PTE 6235, or 6262 billet dbb.
