Dynoed the car yesterday

Mods: APexi intake, Hks dpipe, HKS midpipe, and Hks titanium catback with stock computer. Motor and turbos are newer but not for sure of the miles on them. Boost pills have been pulled off to keep the turbos between 8-10 lbs.

First pull the car put down 286whp/23x tq

Second pull was 272whp/227tq(back to back pulls and turbos only hit around 7 lbs)

3rd pull car put down 295whp/243tq on 8lbs.

Air/fuel below 3500 rpms was around 14:1(a little to lean for comfort) and above 3500 rpms the car was running extremely rich and after transition of the turbos the air/fuel was so rich it was off the charts.

I am pretty proud of the numbers and was wanting to know if anyone else had dynoed on stock computer or on that low of boost levels.

Those are pretty impressive numbers for stock turbos. Congrats.

I would need to see the charts to believe it. Which dyno was that ?

Almost 300hp at 8psi seems HIGH

I also have a problem with those numbers. In stock form, with about 15% drive train loss we have about 217RWHP. You have gained over 78 RWHP with just intake and exhaust? Thats 36% power increase with a lower boost setting!
Another thing is that if you did the pulls and got only 7 psi the second turbo wouldn't even come on and you managed over 280 RWHP with only primary turbo?
As for "Boost pills have been pulled off", unless I remembered it backwards (which I could be, not enough sleep) that would leave your wastegate and prespool wide open, if you turbos did spool, I highly doubt it would be kept at <=8 psi.

i will get someone to help me get the charts up sometime this week. It was on a dynojet and yes the numbers are high for that amount of boost that is why I was posting them up because I was proud of them. There were a couple of people off the forum there to witness it. We were only dynoing to test our theory on the mods and the stock computer to see how rich/lean it was running. I was only expecting to see between 250-270whp and was very suprised when it went higher.

I was there, and I can verify the #s. This is the same dyno that I used last week. Good job Jerome! with the stock pills removed, my car would run a little over 8psi also, I am running a pettit computer now .

dave, I wil get a copy of your dyno chart from tiffany, and scan it for you. and post it.

Hey guys, My name is Tiffany, I'm the girl that operates the Knoxville dyno that Jerome took his car to. I was there when he put those numbers down, and I can tell you everyone was surprised and impressed, Jerome included! We're having another "dyno day" on Sat., Jan. 31st, and Sun., Feb. 1st. Everyone is welcome to come out - whether you're dynoing or spectating, I promise it'll be a blast! Good job Jerome!

Very nicely done.

I'm always amazed at how non-turbo-like the stock twins are when everything's working right. Look at that torque curve! Or should I say LINE
