will these wheels fit my fd?

i looked at the tire and wheel sizing pdf and couldnt find my answer. I was wondering if these size tires and wheels would fit.
17 x 7.5
5 x 114 bolt patten
40 offset
Front Tires: 215-40-17ZR
Rear Tires: 235-40-17ZR
i really don't want any tire rubbing. any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i have been reading and it seems like the general consensus is that for 17's is that anything below 8 inches is too small since stock rims are 16 x 8. Is this true?

true.

and you want at least the factory 225 width. 215s are for Miatas and Civics.

thanks al, i found a good deal on some rims so i wanted to know if this size and offset would be okay to take to the track and drive on the street. is there really going to be that big of a difference riding on the 17 x7.5s?

Please don't put 7.5's on your car. You're supposed to upgrade wheels not downgrade.

People should learn that low price doesn't automatically = a good deal. Glad you reconsidered!
