will these tires/wheels fit my FD?

hi, i have a friend with some stock 5lug 300zx wheels...not as important as the tires, but will the wheels bolt up to the FD?

im more concerned with putting the tires off of the wheels onto my stock fd wheels.

the writing on the tires are:

front: 225-50-92v
rear: 245-50-96v

thanks guys!

Whats the bolt pattern? Offset? Tiresizes don't seem like a big deal . . . i'm not a forum expert though

Z32 ('90-'96) wheels? The bolt pattern is the same, but the offset for those wheels are a lot lower so you may have rubbing up front. And those tires should work; 225/50 comes on a stock FD (you didn't know that? ), and you should have enough clearance out back to run 245/50.

245/50 is too tall by almost an inch. Won't be good.

As far as the wheels, I think the offsets may be too low. There might also be a centerbore issue. That and they are really heavy.

If you need new tires, just get some new tires. If you can't afford them, you shouldn't have an FD anyway.

He asked for rear fitment, and although I myself don't recommend this size, they should clear out back.

I used to own a '91 300ZX Twin Turbo. You are correct on the offsets. I had that car for 5 years and can't remember for the life of me what it is right now but it's something like +32 or +35. Don't think there would be a centerbore issue, but Z32 wheels are NOT heavy. Stock 16" wheels weigh 16 lbs.

Yes, the 245/50s will fit in the rear. However, they are almost an inch taller than stock which will jack up the rear of your car and raise your final drive ratio, slowing acceleration.

but Z32 wheels are NOT heavy. Stock 16" wheels weigh 16 lbs.
Sorry for the bad info, I must be thinking of another car.

slowing acceleration...how much?

i think maybe the amount that i spin now, compared to this, will work out better for me to have these tires.
