Where is the best place (read cheapest) to purchase Toyo tires? I'm looking for four 255/40/17's.

you should stay away from toyo tires, I work at town fair tire and all day long i am doing adjustments (replacing defective tires) and the most common tire to see is a toyo. Stick with the REAL names like Yokohama, and Falken

I have a set of 205/60/14 Falken Aziens on my 87 base and i get such badass grip out of them that its ridiculous

Wow, are you having problems with the T1S or like the proxes4??? The t1S is the world challenge tire, that would be a huge liability for them. FYI, since when was toyo not a NAME BRAND.

In any case, we should have very good prices on Toyos and I have been hooking up the board guys for years. Shoot me an email sales@autornd.com with your location and the best price you've got, and from where. i'll see if we can match or beat it.'

We offer 255/40/17 for $146.00 ea plus shipping and handling. Might want to look at the net cost. Their shipping might be cheaper cause they probably ship a lot. It's worth a shot either way.

I have the TS-1s on my car. They grip amazingly well...the only problem I have is that my car came with some stupid *** firestone firehawks in the back, so it slide way too easy. I cant change it up either because my back tires are a little wider than the front...I don't know what that guy was thinking. 4 brand new tires and he puts the firestones in back (and no he didnt drift it or anything, so it IS pointless to have the crappy tires in back) On a positive note the front feels great

The Toyo Proxes T1-S is I believe the standard tire for the SPEED GT series races. Either that or it's the RA-1. Toyo makes unbelievably performance tires at a reasonable price and although they're not found at, say, America's Tire Co., they're known around the world as top-quality tires. I don't know so much about their regular passenger tires, or their SUV/Truck tires, but their high performance tires are very popular and for very good reason.

I bought some 255/35/18's T-1S's and did it online. They arrived 3 days later.

They didn't pick up the phone when I called initially... but doing it on the web went flawlessly.
